About the role
As the Griffith Base Hospital (GrBH) Chief Pharmacist you will provide leadership to the overall operations of the Griffith Health Service pharmacy department. This opportunity is job shared with our current Chief Pharmacist so you will be supported as you step into this exciting leadership role.
Get the best of both worlds with your responsibilities being split between both management and working within the clinical service.
You’ll provide effective, efficient and quality pharmaceutical services which meet the legal and professional requirements and the relevant guidelines and standards, as well as the planning coordination, provision, monitoring and evaluation of pharmaceutical services within the hospital.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate
Current AHPRA registration with authority to practise as a Pharmacist
Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, including clinical experience in hospital pharmacy and demonstrated successful management of the provision of pharmacy services in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Standard.
A commitment to continuing education, professional development and pharmacy research
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
