Our all boys primary school is currently looking for Integration Aides to help support our students and teachers in the delivery of education programs ensuring students can access and participate safely and inclusively in all school activities.
We have a mix of permanent part time or fixed term roles available offering up to 36 hours per week with flexible working days across the week.
More about the role
- Assist in implementing teacher expectations and contribute to the adaptation and modification of student learning programs where required
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes each student’s participation within the whole class setting
- Engage with students in a warm, respectful, and encouraging manner to support their learning, wellbeing, and confidence
- Work collaboratively and professionally with parents, teachers, and students to support positive educational outcomes
- Actively participate in classroom and school activities, providing appropriate assistance, intervention, and encouragement to students as needed
About you
- A good ability to work independently and take initiative to plan and complete tasks
- Previous experience will be required working with children/students with specialised and complex learning needs
- Experience working in social work or counselling/teaching will be advantageous
- A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
