Company Description: Mech Air Electrical is a EBA mechanical and electrical company.

Our company specialises in high-density living developments, including schools, apartment complexes, and multi-level office buildings.

Mech Air Electrical delivers electrical services across VRF/VRV systems, air handling, air movement, and BMS integration.

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site 1st + 2nd year apprentice role based prominently in the CBD. The apprentice will assist qualified tradespeople with the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical electrical systems on commercial construction sites.

Day-to-day tasks include handling tools and materials, power and wiring control connections under supervision and keeping work areas safe, clean, and organised.

The apprentice will also attend trade school as required, follow all workplace health and safety procedures, and actively develop technical knowledge and practical skills.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction, ask questions, and collaborate respectfully with supervisors and co-workers.
• Good organization, reliability, and time management, including punctual attendance at work sites and trade school, and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Commitment to safety, including following WHS/OHS procedures, using PPE correctly, and maintaining a tidy and compliant work area.
• Current or provisional driver’s license and reliable transport to various sites.
• Completion of Certificate II pre-Apprentice electrical course.
