We're not your typical accounting firm.

Based in Goulburn and Crookwell with clients across the Southern Tablelands and Canberra region, we've built our reputation on genuine relationships and providing useful, easy-to-understand advice. Our clients aren't account numbers. They're neighbours, local business owners, and farming families we've often known for years.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our team, take on a real client load, and do work that matters to people you'll know by name.

One week you might be helping a fourth-generation farming family with succession planning; the next, you're sorting out a tradie's first BAS after he's gone out on his own. The work is broad and varied:

• Preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance
• Tax returns and activity statements across individuals, businesses, and primary producers
• Researching complex tax questions (we have a support network of tax lawyers and specialists when you need them)
• Supporting audit work, including general-purpose financial statements
• Working in your clients' software of choice (primarily Xero, but also MYOB and QuickBooks)

You'll have your own clients, but you won't be on your own. We're a small team that shares knowledge, backs each other up, and genuinely enjoys working together.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• CA or CPA qualified (or working towards it). We'll support you
• At least two years' experience in public practice
• Confident with Xero (and comfortable picking up other platforms)
• Someone who can talk to clients, not just prepare their returns
