In this role, you'll:
Oversee and manage the planning and delivery of tunnel systems work activities, including traffic systems, electrical distribution, fire and life safety, drainage, and ventilation, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and statutory requirements. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team by coordinating resources, managing performance, and building capability to deliver maintenance and minor projects within agreed time, cost, and quality targets. You will provide expert technical advice across complex tunnel systems, including high-voltage switching and advanced electrical and electronic technologies, while managing project risks, ensuring compliance, and contributing to estimating and bidding processes. You will also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and minimise system downtime.

About You
You are an experienced leader with extensive technical expertise in tunnel systems, electrical infrastructure, and advanced electronic technologies, with a strong ability to manage complex maintenance and project environments. You bring proven experience in leading teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering outcomes within tight deadlines while maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards. You have strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and drive successful project outcomes. You hold the required electrical qualifications, including an Electrical Contractor Licence or Supervisor Certificate, HV switching certification, and relevant instrumentation and hazardous area certifications, along with a current driver’s licence, and are flexible to travel or work outside standard hours as needed.
