Working as part of the Building Services team, you will provide administrative assistance to the Residential Design Team in processing Development Applications. You will assist in collating requests for further information from customers and seeking neighbour comment on residential development proposals. You will undertake preliminary application review to ensure the application is complete, and prepare general correspondence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following essential selection criteria as part of your online application:

  • Previous work experience in administration or as a shire liaison for a building company
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills along with exemplary attention to detail
  • The ability to interpret building plans, as well as knowledge of the Residential Design Codes of Western Australia
  • Current WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence
