About the Role

As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for leading and developing the kitchen team while ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse kitchen brigade

  • Organising and delegating effectively to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Managing stock control, ordering and food cost performance

  • Maintaining food safety, compliance and operational standards

  • Delivering consistent, high-quality food across all service periods

  • Contributing to and executing seasonal menu changes twice annually

  • Implementing and embracing BOH systems and processes

  • Working closely with venue leadership to drive performance and continued growth

About You

We're looking for a confident and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to get the best from their team.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume venue

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent organisational and delegation abilities

  • Sound knowledge of stock control, labour management and compliance

  • A passion for coaching and developing kitchen teams

  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to kitchen operations

  • The ability to balance creativity with commercial outcomes
