Salary range Grade 5: $106,845 - $118,057 (this range is subject to increase following current EBA negotiations)

About the role
At VIT, we are seeking an experienced Senior Education and Compliance Advisor to drive key compliance processes, provides specialist education to stakeholders, and plays a critical role in monitoring and improving regulatory standards and teacher registration outcomes.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of risk based compliance frameworks that support VIT's strategic objectives in relation to teacher registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of education programs and resources on registration, compliance and professional standards for teachers and stakeholders.
- Conduct audits of registration applications and declarations including for annual registration renewal returning from non-practising and provisional to full registration applications.
- Provide specialist advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Design and deliver engaging education initiatives including webinars, workshops, presentations and resources.
- Investigate unregistered teaching practice and take appropriate action to manage breaches.
- Analyse data and trends to identify compliance risks, improve process and inform decision making.
- Collaborate across teams and with key partners to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Prepare high quality reports briefs and correspondence for decision making and regulatory bodies.

Demonstrated knowledge of risk-based regulatory practices and processes, particularly as they relate to compliance monitoring, compliance-based investigations and assisting stakeholders to comply through effective education strategies

Demonstrated abilit y to lead and deliver projects end-to-end, including planning, prioritisation, risk management and evaluation.
KSC 8
Experience in the delivery of risk-based compliance frameworks in registration / licensing in a regulatory environment is required
