What role will you play?

In this role, you will act as the trusted advisor for cybersecurity to a broad range of stakeholders including technology, finance, risk and compliance teams, and legal. This role is business-facing and faces into three operating groups. The ideal candidate excels by building trusted relationships and leveraging their strategic capability to see the big picture and align cybersecurity initiatives with overall business objectives. You will be the trusted advisor to the leadership teams for 3 divisions: Financial Management, People and Engagement, Legal and Governance Group, and Risk Management Group.

In this role you will manage the cyber risk profile through evaluating security risks to which the central support groups are exposed, define mitigation measures, monitor the effectiveness of these measures and drive risk reduction (e.g. by facilitating the adoption of standards and central solutions). You will act as the primary connector between central support group teams and the central cybersecurity team, aligning business strategy with cybersecurity solutions. You will provide cybersecurity oversight for business projects through assessing and articulating cybersecurity risks, translating into insights for business leaders, and providing risk guidance. You will develop and report on key cybersecurity metrics and performance indicators to senior leadership and deliver tailored cybersecurity awareness, training, and briefings.

What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience in a cybersecurity advisory role leveraging strong analytical and verbal reasoning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging confidently with senior stakeholders through excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate cybersecurity issues and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled capability in gaining buy-in for security measures by articulating risk trade-offs, cost/benefit analyses, and translating technical concepts into business language.
  • Self-starter, client oriented and work collaboratively with colleagues in multiple global offices.
  • A mindset that is focused on championing an inclusive and diverse culture, understanding the importance of continuous improvement, learning, and maintaining a commercial perspective.
