About The Role

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will support our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists in delivering evidence-based therapy services to children and families.

You will be involved in both individual and group-based therapy programs designed to help clients achieve meaningful outcomes and participate successfully in everyday environments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assisting clinicians with therapy sessions and program delivery
  • Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified practitioners
  • Supporting individual and group-based therapy programs
  • Writing progress notes and reports
  • Collaborating with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and other Allied Health professionals
  • Supporting families, carers and stakeholders through education and communication
  • Helping clients build skills, confidence and independence

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and excited to build a career in Allied Health.

You Will Have

  • Current enrolment in a Master of Speech Pathology or Master of Occupational Therapy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
