The Opportunity
We are seeking to establish a talent pool of Education and Compliance Officers to join our On-Demand Transport (ODT) Safety Assurance branch.
As an Education and Compliance Officer, you will engage with industry stakeholders to undertake general and targeted education and enforcement activities to motivate voluntary compliance with legislative obligations. As a part of a highly effective small team, you will undertake audits of service providers, conduct driver and vehicle checks for compliance, and conduct low level investigative enquiries. You will determine appropriate action for identified non-compliance, which may include education, cautions, infringements or prosecutions.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months from date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.
About you
