  • High volume payroll processing including wages, salaries, overtime, and allowances
  • Collecting, validating, and reconciling time and attendance data
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Maintaining payroll records and generating payslips, tax documentation, and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, and tax requirements
  • Responding to payroll enquiries and delivering excellent customer service
  • Partnering with HR, Finance, and broader teams on payroll-related matters
  • Identifying discrepancies and contributing to process improvement initiatives

Profile

  • Proven experience in payroll processing within a medium to large organisation. Please do not apply if you haven't worked in a smaller organisation (e.g. less than 1000 employees).
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and tax requirements
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach
