MacKellar is seeking experienced Large Excavator and Dozer Operators to join our team at Nyngan. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a well-paid role with a respected mining contractor, working on a long-term project with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Your New Role

Working within a production mining environment, you'll operate large-scale mining equipment to support daily production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating 120t+ excavators and D10 dozers
• Performing pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Working to mine plans and daily production schedules
• Maintaining equipment in accordance with site procedures
• Reporting defects, hazards, and maintenance requirements
• Collaborating with supervisors and production crews to achieve operational targets
• Adhering to all site safety standards and operational requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience operating 120t+ Excavators in a mining environment
• Demonstrated experience operating D9+ Dozers
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• Ability to work effectively within a production-focused team
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Proven ability to maintain productivity while working safely
