The Role of Assistant Night Manager
- Assist the Night Manager with overseeing the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring the property operates efficiently and in line with hotel policies and procedures
- Support and complete the night audit process, including administrative and reporting tasks
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the night team
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution
- Deliver efficient, friendly and professional customer service to all guests
- Ensure a smooth and detailed handover is completed for the incoming shift team
- Monitor the safety, security and presentation of the hotel during overnight operations
- Assist with coordinating departmental activities to ensure seamless hotel operations overnight
About You
- Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, or in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or a similar hotel role is highly advantageous
- Experience within a five-star or premium hotel environment is desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge and experience using Opera PMS is essential
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a positive and professional attitude
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required
