This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Strategy team at NSW Ministry of Health to build strong and productive working relationships with stakeholders, provide high quality financial advice and analysis and support the Ministry of Health and Health system support group achieve sustainable financial outcomes. This role supports stakeholders to make considered and informed financial decisions in line with financial policies and procedures supported by financial analysis and advice.
Crown Clerk grade 5/6 starting salary from $99,938 - $110,271 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location - 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you'll be doing
This position plays a key role to support the strategic financial outcomes across the Ministry of Health and Health System Support Group. With a strategic mindset, you will:
- Support stakeholders with budget management, forecasting and program or branch performance to ensure financial sustainability.
- Proactively monitor and analyse performance, identifying trends and risks to address with stakeholders and/or the Principal Finance Business Partner.
- Prepare and review briefings and other documentation with a focus on strategic financial assessment.
- Raise financial concerns with stakeholders and/or the Principal Finance Business Partner as appropriate.
