About the Role

National Capital Private Hospital is currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic and customer-focused Supply Officer to join their Supply team on a full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the Supply Manager, this position is responsible for the handling the day-to-day supply logistics of the hospital, focusing in operating theatres with involvement in wards and other areas within the hospital.

The position also includes handling supply queries as well as general duties in our logistics area. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital imprest areas.
  • Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference.
  • Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes, code of conduct.
  • Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
  • Support Healthscope's safety and quality improvement and achievement of accreditation by actively participating in department meetings, audits and quality activities.
  • Ensure compliance with and participation in the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience with a computerised purchasing system (i.e. Technology One)
  • Previous experience working in a hospital, with healthcare products or in a high-volume warehouse environment
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Medical product knowledge (desired)
