This position also includes participation in the on-call system, offering 24-hour breakdown support and the potential for overtime.

As a Refrigeration and HVAC Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day delivery of air-conditioning and refrigeration services. Working alongside a dedicated team of trades staff, you’ll ensure the timely and cost-effective maintenance of HVAC systems across various facilities, including hospitals and community centers throughout the District.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Leading Hand, you will collaborate with other staff to provide ethical service solutions.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
