The ideal candidate brings deep domain Superannuation and ideally Pay Day Super. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, uplift documentation, and ensure operational readiness for change

Working knowledge of Insurance in Super processes and products is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an operational subject matter expert, providing guidance, advice and decision-making support to internal teams and service providers.

• Monitor operational performance, service provider reporting, incidents and emerging risks, escalating material issues and recommending practical actions.

• Provide expert operational guidance and decision making for other teams and vendors in relation to how the Fund’s existing Products and Services are delivered.

• Support oversight of third-party administrators and service providers to ensure agreed service outcomes, standards and operational expectations are met.

• Identify control, process, service model and business rule gaps, and recommend improvements that support efficiency, resilience and member outcomes.

• Document current-state and future-state processes, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability to support delivery and stakeholder sign-off.

• Prepare business and change impact assessments, including operational impacts, risks, dependencies, resourcing considerations and mitigation actions.

• Build effective stakeholder relationships and support Operations leadership through clear reporting, informed recommendations, escalation of material matters and completion of delegated activities.

Capabilities and Experience

• Experience in superannuation (PayDay Super knowledge preferrable)

• Experience in financial services, complex operational environments (optional)

• Strong analytical skills and case management experience

• Strong understanding of risk and designing and implementing control frameworks

• Proven ability to drive outcomes under tight timeframes

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with external administrators

• High attention to detail with strong reporting capability
