About The Role
This is a key role within our Risk, Contracts & Compliance team, with real scope to influence how contracts are managed across the business.
As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of our contract management approach end-to-end - working across a broad mix of agreements and partnering with stakeholders and customers to ensure commercial outcomes are well balanced and effectively managed.
You will play a central role in strengthening governance and consistency, while also helping the business navigate risk in a practical, commercially grounded way.
There’s also a strong opportunity to shape and improve how we do things - particularly as we continue to evolve our processes, systems and overall contract lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading contract governance, including frameworks, templates and approval pathways
- Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements across the business
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice to support decision-making
- Partnering closely with stakeholders on contractual matters and negotiations
- Strengthening risk and compliance practices to ensure consistency and control
- Identifying and driving improvements in contract processes and tools
What You Bring
You bring a strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance risk, practicality and business outcomes. You’re confident working across stakeholders and comfortable operating in a role that requires both influence and sound judgement.
You’ll Likely Have
- Solid experience in contract management, legal advisory or commercial risk roles
- A strong understanding of contract structures, terms and risk allocation
- Experience negotiating across a broad range of agreements
- The ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice in complex situations
- Ability to convert legal terminology into clear, concise communication that supports understanding and decision-making
- A legal qualification or proven experience operating in a similar role
