With the HQ in Melbourne and a significant global footprint that is growing rapidly, this brand has a cult-like following and is on the precipice of disrupting a category it played a huge role in creating.
About the Opportunity
This isn't a brand re-fresh. It's something far more challenging.
The brand is preparing to bring a major product evolution to market - one that has the potential to redefine how customers experience the brand and accelerate its next phase of growth locally and internationally. We're looking for a senior retail and go-to-market specialist who has successfully launched premium consumer products, entered new categories or led high-profile product transformations before.
Working directly with the Founder, Chief Marketing Officer and executive leadership team, you'll help shape the strategy, pressure-test the plan and guide the execution required to make this launch a commercial success. You'll understand how to create momentum across every channel that matters; retail, eCommerce, PR, partnerships, influencers, CRM, wholesale and owned media. You'll know which levers to pull, where to invest and what can and can't be ignored. Because you've done this before, you know the difference between activity and impact.
Here's what you'll be focussing on:
- Helping define and refine the go-to-market strategy for a significant product evolution
- Advising senior leadership on launch planning, sequencing, positioning and execution
- Identifying opportunities to maximise retail, digital and brand impact
- Ensuring all channels are working together to create momentum and commercial outcomes
- Bringing an external perspective and proven experience to a high-profile strategic initiative
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across brand, product, retail, eCommerce and marketing
About you
You've likely spent your career as a marketer in retail, launching products, growing brands and creating commercial momentum within premium consumer businesses. You may currently be operating as:
- A fractional or interim CMO
- A marketing consultant specialising in retail and consumer products
- A senior marketing or commercial leader between permanent roles
- A brand or go-to-market specialist who has led major launches in-market
You'll bring:
- Deep experience within retail, consumer products, lifestyle or premium brands
- A proven track record launching products, entering new markets or leading significant brand evolutions
- Strong strategic and commercial capability with the ability to consult and advise at an Executive level
- Experience creating integrated go-to-market plans across multiple channels
- The confidence to challenge, influence, make decisions and contribute at Executive level
- The ability to move quickly and make an impact from day one
- Bonus points if you've worked across both Australian and international markets.
