Salary Range: LGO5 - LGO7 ( $91,374 - $115,332 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role

Drive the design, configuration, and ongoing support of Council’s business systems. Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver system improvements, and implement practical solutions aligned to business needs. Contribute technical expertise across configuration, data migration, system security, and change management while supporting day-to-day operations and escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support business systems, including minor enhancements and operational tasks
  • Engage with stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver system solutions
  • Implement configurations, data migrations, and controlled releases to production
  • Provide 2nd level support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Contribute to projects delivering new functionality and system improvements
  • Apply system security, access controls, and auditing practices
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, legislation, and best practices

About You

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT/Business Systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience in ITIL Service Management and Project Management
  • Strong experience across business systems (e.g. asset, finance, HR, CRM, records, works, property, supply chain, spatial, compliance)
  • Experience across full system lifecycle (design, build, testing, deployment, support)
  • Skills in system configuration, development, administration and support
  • Experience with data tools (scripting, reporting, ETL processes)
  • Knowledge of system documentation, UAT, and quality management
  • Understanding of security, access control, and change management
  • Strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems in changing environments
  • The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
