The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a well-established architecture studio in the search for an experienced Project Leader. With a reputation for delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions across a diverse range of sectors, this practice continues to strengthen its position within the South Australian market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect or emerging Project Leader looking to step into a role with greater responsibility, autonomy, and influence. Working within a collaborative and design-focused environment, you will have the opportunity to lead projects from concept through to completion while mentoring and supporting junior team members.

The Role

As a Project Leader, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors and scales. You will take ownership of project outcomes, managing design development, documentation, consultant coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery while working closely with Directors and senior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading projects through all stages of design and documentation.
  • Coordinating consultants and external stakeholders.
  • Managing client relationships and project communication.
  • Overseeing project programmes, deliverables, and quality standards.
  • Mentoring and supporting architects and graduate team members.
  • Contributing to design discussions and project problem-solving.

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working within an Australian architecture studio.
  • Proficiency in Revit and strong technical documentation capabilities.
  • Experience delivering projects through multiple project stages.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to lead project teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Architectural registration will be highly regarded, although it is not essential.

Most importantly, you will be a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects and contributing positively to team culture.
