About the Role

This is a senior consulting role where you’ll lead customers through the full solution lifecycle — from pre-sales and discovery through functional design, delivery oversight, user adoption and ongoing optimisation.

You’ll work across a broad set of Microsoft business applications and platform capabilities, including:

• Dynamics 365 Sales

• Customer Service

• Field Service

• Customer Insights – Journeys/Data

• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI and Dataverse)

You’ll collaborate closely with customers, project managers, delivery leads, developers and consultants to ensure solutions are commercially sound, scalable, secure and aligned to best practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions and solution envisioning activities across Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform

• Translating business requirements into functional solution designs, process maps, fit-gap assessments and implementation roadmaps

• Owning the functional design for Dynamics 365 CE workloads including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Customer Insights

• Providing guidance on Dataverse design, security models, environment strategy, ALM and integration approaches alongside technical specialists

• Supporting pre-sales engagements through demonstrations, estimations, proposal input and articulation of business value

• Working closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in line with agreed scope, quality and best practice

• Guiding customers through testing, training, adoption and post-go-live optimisation to maximise solution value

• Mentoring consultants and contributing to the growth of the Dynamics 365 CE capability within the business

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a Functional Lead Consultant, Senior Functional Consultant or Solution Architect role delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM and Power Platform solutions

Strong functional knowledge across Dynamics 365 CE and the broader Power Platform, with expertise in one or more of Sales, Customer Service, Field Service or Customer Insights – Journeys

Demonstrated experience leading workshops, defining business processes, producing quality solution documentation and governing implementation outcomes

Hands-on experience with Power Platform capabilities including Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI and Dataverse

Excellent business analysis, process design, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts

Experience across full project lifecycles including pre-sales, discovery, design, delivery, testing and post-go-live support in Agile, iterative or hybrid delivery environments

Working knowledge of supporting tools and platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jira Service Management, Visio, XrmToolBox and Visual Studio

Awareness of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 and Copilot Studio is highly desirable

Relevant Microsoft certifications across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform are highly desirable, along with a client-centric mindset and strong commercial awareness
