Biotech Manufacturing Associate

CSL Behring is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our Biotechnology Manufacturing Facility in Broadmeadows. This role is critical to the production of recombinant protein Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), supporting life-saving therapies used globally.

You will play an integral role in GMP-compliant manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality production while contributing to continuous improvement, validation programs, and new product introductions.

This is a permanent ongoing opportunity.

The Role

• Execute routine GMP manufacturing activities to produce APIs/intermediates in line with approved procedures and schedules
• Ensure full compliance with cGxP, quality, safety (EHS), and regulatory requirements, including accurate documentation practices
• Support equipment commissioning, validation, and re-validation, including execution of validation protocols
• Identify, report, and assist in investigation of deviations, maintaining high standards of operational quality
• Maintain clean, controlled production environments and ensure readiness of manufacturing areas and equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on training, technology transfer, and continuous improvement/project activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Biotechnology, Chemical/Process Engineering, or Food Science (preferred)
• Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated production environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Solid technical capability in a production setting
• Ability to quickly develop process and equipment knowledge
• Understanding of pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing environments
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
