At Rural Group in Shepparton, we know that when machinery is down, every minute counts. That’s why we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team and help keep our customers moving when it matters most.

Working with industry-leading agricultural machinery, including New Holland Tractors and Headers, you’ll enjoy a role that offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact in the local farming community.

From routine servicing and repairs to pre-deliveries and on-farm breakdowns, every day brings a new challenge. You’ll play a key role in keeping machinery running at its best and supporting local farmers when they need it most.

What you’ll be doing

• Servicing, repairing and pre-delivering industry-leading agricultural machinery.
• Diagnosing and fixing a wide range of equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentoring and motivating apprentices – sharing your knowledge and building a strong team culture.
• Taking part in on-site jobs and after-hours callouts.

About You

• Hold a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic/technician trade qualification, or willingness to acquire.
• Current forklift license preferred.
• Possess a current driver’s license.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills with a mechanically minded approach.
• Excellent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Well-presented and customer-focused.
