What this opportunity involves
As a Facilities Operations Manager at JLL, you'll lead the operational strategy and facilities management for a complex, high-security portfolio across multiple sites. This role places you at the center of delivering seamless facilities operations, ensuring compliance, and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management—from planned maintenance and critical asset monitoring to vendor coordination and workplace health and safety compliance. Your strategic mindset will guide operational excellence while your collaborative approach ensures smooth coordination between JLL teams, client site leads, and service providers. You'll be the go-to expert for ensuring properties meet all regulatory requirements, managing risk, and maintaining business continuity across the portfolio.
An overview of the role
Develop and execute operational strategies that align with client objectives, ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across the entire portfolio
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including client leadership, site leads, and functional teams, acting as a trusted advisor and operational partner
Oversee the management of facilities and services contracts, planned and routine maintenance activities, asset registers, and compliance with all maintenance requirements and statutory obligations
Manage repairs and service requests across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), maintain critical asset registers, and develop specialized maintenance and monitoring programs to protect essential infrastructure
Deliver operational and financial reporting, and ensure workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance across all properties
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management with a proven track record of managing multi-site facilities operations in high-security environments
Demonstrated superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior external clients and internal teams, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong business and financial acumen, including budget management, cost optimization capabilities, and experience handling client sensitivities with sound judgment on escalation
Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) requirements, regulatory compliance frameworks, and vendor management for specialized services
Tertiary qualification in Building, Engineering, Facility Management, or Business Administration preferred, with a self-motivated and adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities in rapidly changing situations
