We have a great opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to come in and lead the Financial Accounting and Operations team for Children’s Cancer Institute. Within this role you will manage activities across accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial accounting, audit and statutory obligations, cash management and banking operations as well as having the opportunity to review and design accounting systems to ensure functionality is kept up to date and in line with all statutory regulations and corporate guidelines.

To succeed you will have

  • Accounting/Business degree at master’s level and CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the full range of General Ledger activities - including general accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in technical financial accounting and reporting including fixed asset accounting and payroll
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to organise and control large accounting systems.
  • Technical leadership, advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • People and stakeholder management experience
