Solution Architect – Dynamics 365 / Power Platform

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation program in a complex enterprise environment. This hands-on, delivery-focused role will lead solution design across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Pages, Azure Integration Services and related Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with architects, developers, analysts, testers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable and build-ready solution designs. The role will involve guiding delivery teams, resolving design issues, supporting technical decision-making, and ensuring solutions are practical, reusable and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution design across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Pages and Azure integration components
• Translate business requirements, process needs and user journeys into clear, build-ready designs
• Work closely with developers and functional analysts to guide configuration, customisation and extension decisions
• Support design across model-driven apps, Dataverse tables, forms, views, workflows, security roles, business process flows and related components
• Provide input across integrations, reporting, data, document services, portals and operational support requirements
• Review functional and technical designs, user stories, acceptance criteria and build outputs
• Identify design risks, dependencies, gaps and opportunities for reuse across enterprise components
• Support Agile delivery activities including workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, prototyping, defect triage and release readiness

About you

You will bring strong hands-on experience across Microsoft business applications and be comfortable working in a complex delivery environment.

• 3+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect on large or complex Dynamics 365 / Power Platform projects
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, model-driven apps and Power Platform
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse solution design
• Experience across data modelling, security, integrations, reporting and user experience design
• Exposure to Azure Integration Services, APIs, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus or similar integration patterns
• Experience supporting Agile delivery and working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain options, risks, trade-offs and recommendations clearly

Highly regarded

• Experience in government, regulatory, licensing, permitting, compliance, grants or case management environments
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, document generation, e-signature, spatial/mapping solutions or advanced Azure integration services
• Relevant Microsoft, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, TOGAF or Agile certifications
