People Leadership and Culture Administrator

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Leadership and Culture Administrator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis working, based at the Catholic Education Office.
As part of the People, Leadership and Culture Section, you will provide high‑quality administrative support that enables the effective delivery of leadership and workforce development initiatives across Catholic Education South Australia (CESA).
This role supports the Manager – Leadership and Workforce Development, and the Manager – System Safeguarding, requiring initiative, professionalism, a high level of discretion and strong attention to detail. You will contribute to a culture focused on service excellence, outcomes and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Manager – Leadership and Workforce Development, and the Manager – System Safeguarding to provide executive administrative support to the achievement of team goals.
- Provide administrative support for panels/committees/meetings through effective meeting, workshop and event coordination, including agendas, minutes and logistics.
- Respond to intake enquiries and manage sensitive information from schools, families and Catholic Education Office staff, exercising sound judgement and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain records, databases, filing systems and online content to ensure accurate, compliant and timely information.
- Exercise sound initiative and judgement in liaising with Principals about matters with which the PLC Managers are dealing with including, investigations, critical incidents, leadership development and advice regarding CESA policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Work effectively across the range of complex and confidential matters aligned to the work of the PLC Managers and provide executive administrative support to the achievement of team goals.
About You
- Extensive experience in providing senior administrative support. Experience in an education setting would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Confident in managing multiple priorities and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
- Advanced level of competence and expertise with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Relevant qualification in business administration or similar experience.
