About the Role

As Senior Project Leader at O’Neill Architecture, you will have a leadership role in the planning, design and delivery of a wide variety of building projects. You will be a significant contributor to the development of the business, working with the Partners to deliver the design aspirations of the practice. You will also lead multiple projects simultaneously, assist the Project Partners and Associates in the leadership of project teams, mentoring team members, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will bring a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates design excellence, innovation, and a deep understanding of architectural principles. Your ability to translate ideas into compelling built form will be evident in your past projects. You are passionate about design and thrive in a collaborative environment where creativity and critical thinking are valued. Your design leadership will inspire others and contribute meaningfully to the evolution of ONA’s design direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership responsibilities include ensuring projects achieve client outcomes, to program on time and on budget.
  • Working with Partners to grow design innovation.
  • Deliver excellent design, documentation, and project completion in a Project Leadership role.
  • Empower your teams through clear understanding of deliverables, program and

  • Creatively portray architectural elements as a complete design.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with clients and technical experts.
  • Establish fee and program with Partner and the manage project delivery.
  • Ensure projects meet relevant legal codes and authority compliance.
  • Embrace a collective approach to the mentor/mentee relationship.
  • Promote the ONA brand and participate in new opportunities for the business.
  • Act as an ambassador for ONA and build industry networks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification – Registered Architect.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience post registration.
  • Detailed knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of architecture.
  • Proficiency in using design and project management software, specifically REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape.
  • Strong hand-drawing skills to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, maturity, and diplomacy.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage teams of multi-disciplinary professionals.
