Asset Finance and Insurance Sales Role

AT WORK REST PLAY HERE, OUR TEAM IS THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS.

What we are looking for

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will have a high level of customer contact at a senior level, negotiating sales and working alongside our industry-specific professional sales team.

We are looking for a dedicated financial sales professional to adapt to caravan, bike and marine sales (this environment would suit males and females). You will work cohesively with our sales team and the wider dealership teams to ensure we are delivering the best experience to all our customers in an incomparable manner.

The role involves confidentially discussing customers’ financial situations, taking finance applications, presenting financial solutions, closing sales and meticulously completing paperwork.

The successful applicant will be responsible for handling all customer-related enquiries in a professional and proper manner and ensuring all relevant tasks related to the sales department are completed.

Being driven, having the ability to follow a defined sales process to succeed, and working as part of a cohesive team are essential characteristics for this role. You will provide an exceptional level of customer experience and exceed targets.

Our Stakeholders

We partner with financial services leaders in the Australian leisure industry, including Yamaha Financial Services, Jayco Financial Services and NM Insurance. You will work with these partners to quickly gain accreditations with our many asset finance providers, including Pepper, YMF, Now Finance, Liberty, BOQ and more.

Previous accreditations are highly regarded; however, they are not essential, as we will support your training to obtain the required accreditations.

About you

Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

  • A background in or interest in the financial services industry is highly regarded for this role. This may include banking, finance, insurance or high-value sales.
  • We are looking to take your experience from other industries and show you how to prosper in the leisure industry. However, an interest in caravanning, motorbikes, boating, or automotive sales is a great start.
  • The ability to step customers through our sales process that provides great service and a friendly customer experience is a must.
  • Cert III or above in Finance, Insurance, Sales or Administration is desirable, but not essential, as we will be training you. If you don’t have these qualifications, we will assist you in obtaining a minimum Cert IV in Financial Services qualification, laying a foundation for future career development.

Other desirable attributes include:

  • Knowledge of dealership operations.
  • Ability to grow and maintain customer relationships.
  • Solid computer skills, including use of email and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Current driver’s licence.

What is in it for you?

An opportunity to work in a high-volume seat that delivers earning opportunities and directly rewards effort and success.

A supportive environment that provides direct access to experienced professionals who will assist you in achieving your goals.

A generous base salary above the Award, with an opportunity to earn commissions on top. The package offered will be dependent on experience and suitability for the role.

  • Class-leading industry training in finance and insurance.
  • Company training programs on products and equipment.
  • A structured pathway into the finance industry, including support for further qualifications and career options.
  • PLAY with the things you sell: you will be riding motorbikes, captaining a vessel, etc.
  • Access to employee benefits, including pricing benefits for vehicles, parts & accessories, and finance products such as home loans or vehicle finance.
  • Uniforms will be supplied.
  • Take part in our many social events.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that helps you to succeed.
  • Work-life balance (5.5-day week).

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and want to be rewarded for your effort, we encourage you to apply today.
