The Langham, Gold Coast has an opportunity for a dedicated, service focused and resourceful Night Manager to support our Hotel Operations overnight, as we position The Property as the leading luxury product in the market and beyond.

What You’ll Do

As our Night Manager, you assume the responsibility for the Hotel operations (Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Engineering) and security overnight, ensuring a high level of guest experience during the night operations of the property, and full support of our colleagues. In lieu of Senior Leadership, you are responsible and able to anticipate and resolve problems which impact on guest service, security and night audit operations.

In this operational role, you will support Front Office operations through routine Check-Ins and Check-Outs, room allocations and moves, greeting all guests and supporting colleagues with guest issues, taking a visible management approach for the Front Office.

What You’ll Bring

Our Night Manager will be a service professional with the ability to adapt to new situations quickly and build rapport across teams! To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position at a luxury hotel and be motivated to succeed.

Other key attributes we are looking for include:

• Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality;
• Independent and an ability to work under pressure;
• Highly organised and ability to delegate effectively;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Luxury hotel experience highly desirable;
• Previous detailed experience of Shiji Daylight, Opera, or similar;
• Tertiary Qualifications in Hotel/Hospitality/Business or similar
• Australian work rights.
