We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at RCR Mining Technologies in Welshpool. You’ll be working on BIG gear — machining heavy components used in mining and materials handling equipment.

About the Job

We have Afternoon Shift on offer, working across a range of large CNC machines.

You’ll be:

• Programming and running CNC machines using G-Codes, Mastercam, and AutoCAD

• Checking parts to make sure they meet spec and quality standards

• Working on large-scale components across our modern workshop

Machines include:

• Horizontal Lathe – up to 6 metres long

• Vertical Borer – 1m diameter chuck

• Horizontal Borer – 2m x 4m table

• Vertical Machining Centre – 0.8m x 1.8m table

• Large Floor Borer – jobs up to 88 tonnes

What We’re After

• Trade qualified CNC Machinist with solid experience

• Confident with G-Code programming

• Strong with Fanuc controls

• Experience with Heidenhain and/or Siemens a bonus

• Able to read and work from engineering drawings and blueprints

• Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in quality work
