Role Purpose

The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving fanbase growth, digital performance, supporter engagement and revenue outcomes through data-led, targeted and measurable marketing activity. Sitting within the Marketing & Consumer Engagement team, this role partners closely with Commercial, Consumer and Data teams to acquire new fans, deepen supporter relationships, and convert engagement into long-term value for the Club. Your responsibilities will include:

Growth Marketing & Campaign Delivery

  • Develop and deliver growth marketing campaigns supporting fan acquisition, database growth, membership, ticketing, retail, partnerships, events and broader Club initiatives
  • Plan, build and optimise multi-channel campaigns across paid, email, SMS, web, organic social and other relevant digital channels
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to align brand, creative and performance activity across key Club campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to move supporters from awareness to engagement, conversion, retention and advocacy

CRM, Lifecycle & Personalisation

  • Act as a key owner of CRM and lifecycle marketing activity, supporting best practice usage, optimisation and campaign delivery through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Develop and optimise supporter journeys aligned to acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and lifetime value objectives
  • Build segmented and personalised communications for prospects, members, ticket buyers, merchandise customers, event attendees and engaged fans
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene, including data quality, consent management, deduplication and regular database audits

Paid Media & Digital Performance

  • Plan, manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across paid social, search, display, video and retargeting
  • Support paid acquisition activity for database growth, membership leads, ticket sales, merchandise campaigns and major Club moments
  • Monitor campaign spend, performance and ROI, making recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Test audiences, creative, messaging, offers and channels to continuously improve campaign performance

Performance Optimisation & Analytics

  • Own key growth marketing metrics including database growth, digital engagement, conversion rates, campaign ROI, cost per lead, cost per acquisition and revenue contribution
  • Analyse campaign performance and translate insights into practical optimisation strategies
  • Continuously test and refine campaign effectiveness through structured experimentation
  • Produce regular reporting and dashboards to inform decision-making across Marketing, Consumer and Commercial teams

What you'll bring

  • Growth marketing experience across CRM, lifecycle and performance marketing, ideally in sport, entertainment or a consumer environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent, including segmentation, journey building and campaign delivery
  • Proven ability to plan and optimise paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, search, display or retargeting
  • Experience developing data capture and lead generation strategies, with strong measurement and attribution capability (UTM frameworks, GA4, GTM)
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to fan growth, revenue, conversion and lifetime value
  • Organised, collaborative and values-led; comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and motivated by building something from the ground up
