Fiona Stanley Hospital is actively looking for experienced Midwives to join our Midwifery Group Practice for our Aboriginal Maternal Health Program - Boodjari Bidi.

The midwives will work under the Midwives Annualised Salary Agreement (MASA) and will meet the on-call component of this agreement. The program will aim to deliver culturally safe maternity care across the whole maternity spectrum to women who access care at Fiona Stanley Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape this program and to be involved in providing evidence-based midwifery care whilst promoting patient safety and quality care.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.
