Logistics Officer

I am recruiting for a global leader in the production of engineered products to find a Logistics Officer to support operations across a manufacturing facility in Jandakot, Western Australia.

There is a high chance this contract will be extended or a permanent contract awarded to the successful candidate after 6 months.

Main Job Duties

• Coordinating all international and Australia-wide logistics freight movements, ensuring compliance with trade requirements for Australian Customs, Defence Export Control Office, and dangerous goods regulations (imports and exports)
• Maintaining effective communication between SCM and operations teams to ensure expectations are met
• Preparing international export commercial invoices and all required documentation
• Compiling and maintaining job-related correspondence and documentation
• Monitoring all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensuring finished goods transfers, goods issues, and shipping activities are completed accurately and on time

Your skillset requirements

• Safe & efficient forklift operation - must have forklift license
• Dangerous Goods Qualified
• Experience picking and packing high volume deliveries
• Strong manual handling capability
• Strong safety awareness
