About The Role

What if your MBA — the years spent mastering corporate finance, market strategy, and organizational dynamics — could directly shape how AI advises the next generation of business leaders?

We're looking for MBA-qualified professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on complex business topics. You'll stress-test AI reasoning across domains like DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain logistics, and cap table modeling — building the kind of rigorous, executive-grade intelligence that the world's leading AI research labs are working toward.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required — just deep business expertise and a sharp eye for rigorous thinking.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design complex business challenges — craft advanced case studies and quantitative problems spanning DCF valuation, market entry analysis, operations bottlenecks, and cap table modeling
  • Author ground-truth solutions — produce rigorous, step-by-step responses complete with financial statements, strategic rationales, and professional frameworks (4Ps, 5Cs, Porter's Five Forces, and more) that serve as gold-standard references for AI training
  • Audit AI-generated business content — evaluate AI-produced business plans, financial forecasts, and case analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional standards
  • Sharpen AI reasoning — identify and document logical failures such as sunk cost errors, miscalculated WACC, or flawed macroeconomic assumptions, and provide structured, actionable feedback
  • Work independently and asynchronously — manage your own schedule and deliver high-quality work on your own terms

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
  • Strong foundational knowledge across at least two core business disciplines: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
  • Able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-style recommendations and structured written analysis
  • Naturally detail-oriented — you catch errors in financial formulas, spot flawed assumptions, and notice when an argument doesn't hold up
  • Comfortable working independently without hand-holding
  • No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
  • Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance systems
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision tools such as Excel financial modeling, Tableau, or SQL
  • Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with industry-leading AI research labs on genuinely cutting-edge projects
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • High-impact contribution: your expertise shapes how AI reasons about real business problems at scale
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
