About The Role
AEMO Operations division is at the forefront of the energy transition, managing power system through the energy transition.
As part of the Network Modelling and Information (NMI) team, your role will be an important one, with primary accountability for the management of the provision of data to external stakeholders, and will include data collection, analysis and visualisation of relevant statistics to support business decision.
What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end provision of data and respond on their queries.
- Maintain, analyse and visualise statistics related to data provision.
- Improve relevant automation scripts written in python for management of data provision activities.
- Support management of the SharePoint site used for data provision to external stakeholders.
- Perform analysis and statistical techniques to identify patterns and future trends.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, mathematics, programming or related discipline.
- Experience in the Energy sector is essential, with an understanding of electrical engineering principles, specifically relating to electricity transmission and generation.
- Strong practical experience with Statistics and Artificial Intelligence using tools such as Regression, Clustering, ML and DL.
- Experience writing Python code and using Python libraries, including automated testing and data visualisation techniques.
Experience in data wrangling and cleansing.
