About The Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE), working across our Gold Coast sites, including Southport.

In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care and clinical support within a medical imaging environment. You will work closely with Radiologists and clinical teams to support a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

You will be responsible for delivering safe, timely and patient-centred care, along with associated administrative and clinical governance tasks in line with organisational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessment, monitoring and preparation before, during and after imaging procedures
  • Perform cannulation and manage IV access for contrast administration
  • Assist Radiologists with interventional and imaging procedures
  • Provide post-procedure care, observation and discharge support
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support compliance with clinical governance, policies and protocols
  • Manage clinical stock and contribute to operational efficiency
  • Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, comfort and confidentiality

Is This Role Right for You?

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in patient assessment and acute clinical care
  • Competence in cannulation and IV contrast administration
  • Current BLS certification and ability to respond to emergencies (e.g. MET calls, anaphylaxis)
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families and clinical teams
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands in a fast-paced setting
  • High attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation
  • Experience with electronic medical records and radiology systems (desirable)
  • Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Capacity to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites
  • Full Australian working rights
