We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Brisbane Sales team, with overall responsibility for the strategic direction, leadership, and commercial performance of both TV and Digital sales across Queensland. This role balances new business and client acquisition with the deepening of existing partnerships, driving sustainable revenue growth, developing market-leading advertising strategies, and building a high-performing sales culture.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will strengthen relationships with media agencies and key clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow market share across Queensland.

As a senior member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will help shape national sales strategy, champion innovation, and inspire a culture of collaboration, accountability and commercial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Brisbane Sales team to achieve revenue targets through strategic leadership and high-performance sales execution.
  • Drive a proactive new business culture and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients across Queensland.
  • Develop and implement market growth strategies that expand Foxtel Media's presence across Queensland and increase market share.
  • Drive commercial performance across TV, Digital and integrated sponsorship solutions, delivering innovative client outcomes.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key state-based clients and media agencies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Leverage Foxtel Media's premium sport and entertainment assets to create integrated advertising solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering capability, accountability and a culture of excellence.
  • Monitor sales performance, budgets and key metrics, providing commercial insights to optimise business results.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team to shape strategy, champion innovation and drive Foxtel Media's long-term growth and success.

About your experience

  • 7+ years experience leading high-performing sales teams with accountability for revenue growth and P&L management, including a demonstrable track record across both new business acquisition and account management.
  • Demonstrated success developing market growth strategies and delivering sustained commercial performance in competitive environments.
  • Strong digital media expertise with experience selling integrated TV, Digital and sponsorship solutions to both new and existing clients
  • Proven ability to leverage key state-based client and agency relationships to retain, grow and diversify revenue streams while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Passion for sport and a strong understanding of how premium sporting content can create compelling advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build influential relationships with clients, media agencies and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Track record of exceeding commercial targets within a high performance sales culture.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, with in-depth knowledge of the Brisbane advertising market and its key stakeholders.
