Growth Marketing Lead

Lyrebird Health

The Role

Lyrebird Health empowers clinicians to increase the standard of care they deliver to patients. This role will own the growth of new users to the platform, as well as the acquisition budget, the channel mix, and the experiment roadmap that enable it.

You will own and deploy spend across all growth marketing channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, referrals, affiliates, and emerging channels. You will be accountable for core acquisition goals including new signups, activation rate, CPA, LTV/CAC, payback, and incrementality. This is the fourth hire on the Australian marketing team - a foundational moment to build an AI-native growth function from the ground up.

This is a high impact owner / operator role, with significant influence on business outcomes. Being able to understand customers and problem solving at a high level, while also being able to (and wanting to) implement programs, optimisations, and be hands on tools with your partners is critical to success in this role.

Lyrebird Health is building the medical intelligence layer for modern healthcare. Today, we offer a clinical AI platform purpose-built to elevate the standard of care across all clinical settings. The platform brings together ambient realtime document creation, intelligent document management and clinical workflow automation, native patient data integrations across siloed health systems, and a patient and clinical communications layer.

This system delivers better patient outcomes. By empowering clinicians with higher quality and more three-dimensional patient information at the right time, lightening the clinician’s mental load during consults, automating comms that increase velocity of action around a patient, and keeping the patient in the loop the entire time; the experience of delivering, and receiving care, are being completely transformed.

Every year in Australia, ~3000 people die from preventable medical errors. Not from incurable diseases, but from misdiagnosis, missing information, and clinicians making decisions under impossible circumstances. This transformation can’t come fast enough.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full clinician and clinic acquisition funnel: from channel strategy and budget allocation through to signup, activation, and early retention, with the numbers to prove it’s working.
  • Deploy and optimise the customer acquisition budget across paid search, paid social, programmatic, referrals, affiliates, direct mail, and channels that haven’t been tried yet.
  • Build the creative and experiential testing engine: ideate, brief, run, and learn from tests at a pace that compounds over time.
  • Engineer feedback loops that bring customer insight back into the acquisition program, so campaigns get smarter with every cycle.
  • Partner with analytics to run incrementality measurement and attribution that gives the business a clear view of what’s actually driving growth.
  • Report on core acquisition KPIs (new signups, activation rate, CPA, LTV/CAC, payback) and use them to make sharper decisions, not just fill dashboards.
  • Work alongside brand, product marketing, and creative to build campaigns that perform and resonate, without compromising either.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on experience owning paid acquisition budgets and optimising across search, social, and display. You’ve built the campaigns, not just overseen them.
  • Strong analytical capability: you’re comfortable in the data, building models, running experiments, and drawing conclusions that lead to real decisions.
  • A track record of improving acquisition efficiency over time: lower CPAs, better activation, faster payback, not just more spend.
  • Experience working across the full acquisition funnel, with an understanding of how channel decisions upstream affect activation and retention downstream.
  • An AI-native and systems-level instinct: you look for leverage, automate what can be automated, and build operations that scale without adding headcount.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Australian healthcare or working with healthcare practitioners as a target audience.
  • Exposure to offline acquisition channels (TV, OOH, direct mail) in a performance context.
  • Dashboarding experience in Tableau or Sigma.
  • Familiarity with incrementality testing methodologies and multi-touch attribution frameworks.

The work you do here directly affects how many clinicians have the time, clarity, and confidence to care for their patients well. Every new signup you drive is a doctor spending less time on paperwork and more time on the person in front of them.

We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every requirement.
