Job Description
- Lead workshops to elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements across workforce management, rostering, HRIS, and payroll domains
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring traceability across the delivery lifecycle
- Document current and future state processes, including workforce scheduling, award interpretation, and payroll processing
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and operational leaders
- Support implementation of workforce management (Optima), HRIS (e.g., Workday), and payroll integrations
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately translated into system design
- Assist in data mapping, integration design, and validation activities
- Support system, integration, parallel payroll, and UAT phases by validating test cases and expected outcomes
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Business Analyst Should Have
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation or system implementation programs
- Strong experience with Workday, HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce/rostering solutions
- In-depth understanding of payroll processes, award interpretation, and workforce scheduling
- Experience working in complex, highly regulated environments (healthcare industry experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated ability to work with both functional and technical stakeholders and translate between the two
- Strong documentation skills (process maps, user stories)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
