About the opportunity

ChangeStride helps organisations navigate technology and transformation programs, working at the people and process end to make change stick. We partner with clients across the private and public sectors, guiding teams through new systems and new ways of working with confidence and care.

We’re growing our network of associates to bring onto client projects as they arise. It’s a great opportunity to get involved in meaningful work, on programs that make a difference.

We’d love to hear from people who enjoy solving problems and want to be part of delivering change well. This role is fully remote, with some occasional travel to client sites where it’s needed.

What you’ll bring

→ 5–7 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst on technology or transformation projects, confident owning the analysis from discovery through to delivery

→ A track record of leading discovery; running workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to uncover the real underlying problem

→ Strong requirements practice; eliciting, documenting, prioritising and validating business and functional requirements that teams can build from with confidence

→ Skilled at process mapping and analysis; documenting current state, designing future state, and identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement

→ Comfortable shaping solutions alongside technical teams and vendors, translating fluently between business needs and technical delivery

→ A trusted communicator with senior and operational stakeholders, able to bring people along, manage competing priorities, and work independently with minimal oversight

→ Sound judgement and attention to detail, with the confidence to flag issues early and keep delivery on track

Nice to have

→ Public sector, local government or consulting experience

→ Experience with technology or ERP system implementations

→ Familiarity with techniques like user stories, use cases, BPMN or formal BA documentation standards

→ Exposure to testing, UAT or supporting solution rollout

→ IIBA certification (CBAP or CCBA) or a related tertiary qualification is well regarded

How and where you’ll work

Work is project-based, and we’re open to people wherever you’re based.

Inclusive by design

We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive network, and we welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and working styles. Varied perspectives make for better outcomes, and we’re glad to make reasonable adjustments to support how you work best.
