About The Role
As Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse department within a high-volume retail environment. You'll drive sales performance, coach and develop your team, maintain exceptional visual standards, and ensure customers receive outstanding service every visit.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend your time on the shop floor motivating your team, managing stock flow, and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
Skills And Experience
- Previous retail leadership experience as a Department Manager, Assistant Store Manager or similar
- Strong experience leading and developing large teams
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPI targets
- Excellent customer service and people leadership skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
- Passion for outdoor, adventure, sporting or lifestyle retail is highly regarded
- Ability to lead from the front and inspire team performance
