About The Role

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our Mackay team. This is a full time position rostered Monday to Friday with 7.6-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. This is a fixed roster has no late shift or weekend requirements.

The successful candidate will manage the comprehensive care pathway for interventional patients, ensuring safe admission and recovery for procedures such as biopsies, therapeutic injections, and vascular access. You will provide high-level clinical support and patient monitoring within a multi-modality environment, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine.

While experience in medical imaging is a plus, comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

The remuneration and classification level is Registered Nurse 5.2 to 5.7 or Enrolled Nurse 3.1 to 3.5

About You

• Full Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years Hospital experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management skills with sound decision making under pressure
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care
• Peripheral intravenous cannulation skills desirable
• Current basic life support certification - ALS Training Provided
