About The Role

Provide leadership and specialist support in delivering inclusive, community-focused learning and information services at Citylibraries. As the Senior Learning and Information Services Officer, you will mentor staff, foster a collaborative team environment and drive the delivery of high-quality, innovative programs across library branches and community settings.

This role plays a key part in planning and delivering library services such as book clubs, community programs and information services, while ensuring strong customer outcomes through responsive, informed support. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a senior role and make a meaningful impact within Council and the community.

About You

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma or Associate Diploma in Library and Information Studies (or equivalent)
  • Current C class driver’s licence and Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to support a diverse community
  • Ability to lead self, adapt and learn new systems and processes
  • Confident communication skills across a range of audiences
  • Experience working collaboratively to support team outcomes
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WHS requirements
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
