About the role
As the Regional Quality & Safety Officer, you will provide critical administrative, analytical, and operational support across safety management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, training, and audit coordination.
Reporting to the Regional Quality & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) and quality programs, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Quality & Safety Manager with internal audits of regional MRO activities, including reporting and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with CASA, Other NAA, and internal reporting standards, including timely occurrence reporting
- Maintain and update Manuals and Procedures documentation and systems to ensure compliance
- Manage and administer a regular programme of safety audits and inspections across MRO departments
- Lead and administer Airworthiness Authority, OEM, Customer and other external audits conducted on ExecuJet, including coordination of required actions and responses
- Lead and administer ExecuJet Supplier audits including coordination of required actions and responses
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions, ensuring effectiveness and continuous improvement
- Preparation of reports relating to quality, safety, and training
- Assist with the conduct of aviation safety accident/incident investigations when required
- Support monitoring of SMS performance through data analysis, trend tracking, safety culture surveys, and reporting
- Support safety occurrences, hazard identification, and risk assessments, supporting investigations and closure of actions
- Promote a strong safety culture aligned with Just Culture principles
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications in Aviation Management or Engineering (preferred)
- Diploma in Quality Auditing/Assurance (highly regarded)
- Experience in aviation safety, quality, or compliance environments
- Lead Auditor training/experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and outcomes-focused
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration abilities
