About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to apply oversight and governance across all IT Service Continuity Management services by Allianz IT and Service Providers in line with the Allianz Corporate Framework including the DORA and CPS230 regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all ITSCM policies and standards are followed to ensure full compliance with AAL’s corporate framework and Group Functional Rules including requirements for DORA and CPS230.
- Actively participate in all internal and external audits to ensure ITSCM has no overdue audit actions.
- Work in a constructive and positive manner with AzT and all AAL Service Providers to deliver all ITSCM conform to legal and external regulatory requirements.
- Promote and champion an active risk culture at all times and support fellow team members to ensure the ITSCM function delivers suitable outcomes for the Allianz Risk Framework.
- Implements and ensure adherence to the IT Service Continuity Management policies, standards, procedures and processes to ensure compliance to the organisation’s technology strategy.
- Implement and follow the agreed IT Service Continuity framework and disaster recovery test strategies and support AzT with the execution of their Multi Year Test Plan. Collaborate and support the Enterprise Resilience and Technology Risk teams in relation to all IT Service Continuity matters including analysis and reporting requirements.
- Participate positively across all ITSCM activities and help at all times to build an inclusive culture; support AAL's values and behaviours; develop excellent working relationships AAL and AzT teams to deliver outcomes through effective partnership.
- Maintain ITIL certification with demonstrated credentials of work delivered in conjunction with the AzT IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) function.
- Experience in IT Service Continuity, Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning and assessment and having worked in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience working with resilience and recovery in Cloud environments with a focus on AWS.
- Experience with Service Management processes and systems such as Service Now.
About you
- Experience in supporting and implementing internal control and governance, policies and procedures based on the regulatory requirements and leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance. Experience in governance of outsourced Service Providers in large organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Able to identify, analyse and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls / actions to manage the risks for future sustainability.
- Significant knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services such as APRA Prudential Standards, particularly with respect to outsourcing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure - On-Prem and Cloud
- Experience in large scale DR Testing events
- Experience with BCPs and related BIAs
- Ability to monitor and manage changes to IT Services, ensuring effective controls are in place to reduce of risk to the availability, performance, security and compliance of the business services impacted by the change.
- Governance of the processes, systems and functions to package, build, test and deploy changes and updates (which are bounded as "releases') into a live environment, establishing or continuing the specified Service, to enable controlled and effective handover to Operations and the user community.
- The role will include conducting service design activities across projects and other initiatives ensuring that the support model and other considerations are costed, funded, approved and in place as part of the delivery.
- Experience implementing a Service Design model or Service Portfolio.
- Demonstrated translation of business functions into an IT offering or capability.
- Service mapping in line with a defined Configuration Management model.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
