Event Manager

Equitable Philanthropy

Bring philanthropy to life through unforgettable events

Equitable Philanthropy is a corporate advisory firm specialising in the philanthropy space, advising both charities and funders across Australia from our base in Melbourne. Events are where strategy meets people, donor circles, funder roundtables, client workshops and sector roadshows that turn good intentions into committed support. We are looking for a part-time Events Manager to own these moments end to end, both for EP and on behalf of our clients.

The role

The role spans two sides. Internally, you will plan and deliver EP's own calendar of events, from thought leadership gatherings to sector roadshows and professional workshops. On the client side, you will work as a trusted extension of our clients' teams, designing and running their fundraising and stakeholder events, from intimate donor dinners to major appeals and signature occasions. Across both, the work covers everything from concept and budgeting through to logistics, supplier coordination, guest management and on the day delivery. You will work closely with our advisors to ensure every event advances a clear fundraising or relationship goal, and you will be the person who makes it all run seamlessly.

What you will bring

You are exceptionally organised, calm under pressure and confident managing multiple events at once. You have an eye for detail that elevates the guest experience, and the judgement to represent EP and our clients with warmth and professionalism. Experience with not for profit, philanthropic or corporate events is a distinct advantage.

Why Equitable Philanthropy

This is a genuinely flexible part-time role for someone who wants meaningful work without a full-time commitment. You will shape how EP shows up in the sector, work alongside a capable and supportive team, and see the direct impact of your events on causes that matter. This is a Melbourne-based role with event delivery requiring some on-site presence.

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note on your events experience to ***email_hidden***. This is a part-time role. We review applications as they arrive, so early expressions of interest are encouraged.
