About the Opportunity: This is a permanent, full-time Project Manager position overseeing civil construction projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.

The role will suit an experienced civil Project Manager who can confidently lead project teams, manage commercial performance and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and delivery partners.

Depending on project requirements, you may take ownership of a major project or oversee several concurrent projects.

What You’ll Be Doing: You will be responsible for the successful operational and commercial delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

Your Role Will Include

• Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, including programs, budgets, procurement and delivery strategies
• Overseeing forecasting, cost control, claims, variations and commercial reporting to achieve project targets
• Leading engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers while coordinating site resources and delivery activities
• Maintaining strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships and resolving operational or commercial issues
• Ensuring compliance with contractual, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Supporting the development of engineers, supervisors and broader project teams while maintaining accurate project reporting and documentation

The Ideal Candidate: The right person will combine strong project leadership and commercial capability with a practical understanding of civil construction delivery.

You Will Ideally Bring

• Proven Project Manager experience within civil construction
• Contractor-side delivery experience across civil infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial, contractual and project delivery capability
• 5+ years experience leading project teams, subcontractors and client relationships
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Practical, commercially focused and decisive leadership style

Experienced Senior Project Engineers already carrying significant project, commercial and team leadership responsibility are also encouraged to apply.
